Single crochet border on knitting

A single crochet seam can be used as a decorative outside seam or hidden inside. I like the single crochet seam worked on the outside. This effect is great on a bag or jacket. Whether the single crochet border is to be the beginning of a fancier border, or if you just want a simple way to clean up ugly edges on your projects, it's a super simple and highly effective way to go from wonky to perfectly fine in no time flat and without tons and tons of additional yarn.
The best idea is to work this single crochet round in the same color as the project, even if you are going to use a different color for the border. This will even out the edge and give a neat appearance. Work 3 single crochet stitches in each corner, or you can (single crochet, ch 1, single crochet) in the corners.
